I live near two famous Zoos. The Wild Animal Park, which is closest to me, has major breeding programs & is set up as though the animals are in their natural environments. I still am not sure how I feel about that. It is to bad that humans are stealing everything from the worlds animals.
I always feel uncomfortable when I see animals in cages at regular Zoos.

I like zoos. I like to see all the different kinds of animals that you don't see every day. The zoos I have been to have set up as close to natural environments as possible.

I do enjoy them.
But I am mixed as to my feelings, there are some great zoos, and some that are simply horrendous.

The best zoos are the ones that do not populate beyond what their acreage can handle and use large, spacious, as close to natural enclosures as possible.
They also participate in well managed, worldwide breeding programs for endangered or threatened species.

I love zoos but its kinda sad in a way to see animals in cages... even though I'm sure they are well taken care of.

LOVE animals, hate cages.
It's hard not to go to a zoo, but I'd rather see the animals in their natural habitat, like on an African Safari (someday!) than behind bars, glass, and fences. I would go to a wildlife reserve or registered natural habitat park of some sort.

I enjoy making them on zoo tycoon!
Seriously, I haven't been to one in forever so I don't remember if I like them or not.

Under the cats, mostly.
I enjoy zoos... but I enjoy zoos that cater properly for the animals in them. I'd rather see fewer animals in larger areas than so many more crammed into smaller spaces. Copenhagen zoo is currently undergoing a major overhaul to improve facilities for their animals again, they've removed some animals and they're not going to bring in more. Animals in small cages depress me.

I like zoo's so long as they are properly run.
Living in a big city it's the only place I can actually get to see animals!

The Cincinnati Zoo is nice and all, however it's dang expensive. I mean to buy a lukewarm cheeseburger with wilted lettuce, it's $5.

The only good thing about the zoo is the Festival of Lights, a Christmassy themed wintertime wonderland. Now THAT is worth the $5 funk cheeseburgers!
