I made the mistake of going to PetSmart yesterday. $65 later I walked out and part of my order included a Panic Mouse.

Last night we put the batteries in and cat-tested it.

At first she was scared and then she started to warm up to it.

Hey Mom - what's this?

I think I will watch you from over here

It will never see me under the sofa!

getting braver

Ha! it will never see me up here!

In this one she has it in her mouth and is trying to run away with it!

Thanks for looking!

Awwwwwwww their great!, she look so sweet with it as well!

Do they make much of a noise?. I have one of those windy up mice but Rosie and Sophie run away because of the noise it makes on the hardwood floor

Thanks!

It has different speed settings. It was a bit loud on thae fastest setting, also way too fast for Abby. She was terrified! I put it on th eslowest setting, and it was much better for the noise and for Abby!

Oh those pictures just melt my heart!
. It's so cute to watch her progression with the Panic Mouse. Glad she has a new toy to demolish!

I bet Sophie would have the mouse bitten off within a few days!.

I must post a picture of a wool frog on a pole they have, what a mess he's in after Sophie was let loose on him

I think i might look into one of those for them for christmas!

They actually send you two of the toy attachments. I was impressed by that.

Yes, please post some pics of Rosie and her toy! I LOVE Rosie pictures!

YY recieved the Panic Mouse last yr for Xmas and she did play with it but she is quite an inventive kitty and loves the ties that come with tech stuff or even the paper ones one finds at grocersy stores. She plays for HOURS with then and if she looses one under the fridge, she will dig till she gets it or drive her meomy to distraction with yowls until meomy finds it for her. I actually watch her closely when she plays with them tho - I have envisions of her swallowing one inadvertantly. The sphynx have decided to use her Panic Mouse for the time being. Cats!!!

She certainly looks like she is having a good time with her new toy! I have been thinking of getting one of them for Guin but he also has a wind up mouse and he is scared of it so I am not sure how he will take to something that size

That can sure drove you crazy some days, can't it? You want to say "Why don't you play with your toys in the middle of the floor instead of near the fridge?"

I'd like to get one for Alex and Cleo but I'm not sure how destructive they would be. I read a few other posts where kitties did a job on the Panic Mouse, and I was wondering if it's expensive? I wouldn't get it if it cost a lot, but if it's not too much money it might be fun to let the kitties have their kill.
