I can't believe how stupid that is and what a bad message it sends to all the young girls who, for reasons I will never understand, look up to Paris.

Just perpetuates the myths that pets are disposable.

Remember how upset she was when the dog was "kidnapped"?
Grr, I could snap her like a twig.

I get so angry with all these celebrities who think pets are accessories
.

Brtiney spears also got rid of her dog because it didn't like her husband (or was it the husband who didn't like the dog??).

sounds like bens mother. she gets a dog and then returns them a week later.
She has had kiki for nearly 3 years now, this dog is seriously half a cat.

neither her nor jessica simpson have nay redeeming qualities yet people look up to them and also support them by buying their merchandise. i personally think they need to be taken outside and have them pick out their own switches and get a little beating and maybe then they will go away.

Just yesterday my boyfriend was telling we that Paris Hilton was all grown up with her new hairdo etc and she wasn't wearing 'nothing' in whatever he was watching - so much for that!

She got rid of her pooch because it was to big and replaced it with a smaller dog.

Some celebs are great about thier pets, like Drew Barrymore.. kids should look up to them.

I read about this the other day, and I was a little surprised. Her mom said somewhere before that Paris was really sweet and loved animals and that when she was little she wanted to be a vet. I thought that MAYBE the way she is could happen to anyone born into that situation, and she's good deep down. I was wrong.

And to clarify, the "too big" dog weighed 3 1/2 pounds. She gave it to her mother.

I watched a 2 hour show about the entire Simpson family the other night and it was actually quite interesting. They had personal interviews with each and every one of them and they really are great people.
You really can not believe everything you read and/or hear about from the media. Jessica I think is a great girl who gets a bad rep unfairly. She does her best to do things that will clear her of it. Paris on the other hand seems to work to keep her rep. I still think a majority of what we read is untrue about her, but she doesn't do anything to clear it. She just feeds into it. But it's her career. That's what she does.

Regarding Tinkerbell.. I don't think the story is complete. These rumors get started because photographers or members of the media see something and fabricate their own stories. Is it possible they saw Tinkerbell with her mom while Paris was carrying Bambi around and someone decided that this is what happened? Would Paris fight it? Not necessarily, how much publicity did she just get?

She gave her Chihuahua Tinkerbell to her mom because she was "too big" and got another one that is smaller. She only likes her dogs when they are very small. I will refrain from voicing my opinion on Paris because I'm pretty sure the moderators wouldn't like the language!

Has anyone seen this show on E! called "Filthy Rich Cattle Drive"? It's HILARIOUS. This group of "rick kids" including Pat Benetar's daughter, George Foreman III, Robert Blake's son, daughter of a Yahoo CEO, a Ecuadorian shipping heir, etc, are going on a 100 mile cattle drive for charity. The first day they were all worried about whether or not they'd be able to use thier straightening irons and hair dryers! I laughed my butt off when they made them check cows to see if they were pregnant! The son of the ranch owner said it best "I wouldn't be half the person I am if I had been raised like this."

These rich kids are like this because of how they were raised. They are physically and mentally weak. There's no reason a healthy person my age shouldn't be able to lift a 40-lb saddle onto a horse's back, no higher than her shoulders. Heck, I was doing that when I was 15!
