The Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary in Montana has an opening for a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager position. The sanctuary specializes in caring for disabled animals — dogs, cats and horses. The position’s primary responsibility is for the sanctuary’s horse program. There are 25 horses on the ranch, 18 of them blind. Approximately 70% of the work involves caring for the horses, including pasture management, training, etc. The rest of the work involves assisting with the dog and cat care, conducting tours for visitors, and other duties. Horse experience is required. College degree preferred.

Candidates need to have positive, outgoing, energetic personalities; be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather; and be able to represent the sanctuary to the public in a professional manner. Salary is commensurate with experience.
