I think the worst part about all this is how helpless you feel. Yes, you take them to the vet, but in this case, it turned out to be an all we can do is wait and see type of thing. I am just so thankful that my wife found him when she did. I really feel that if he did not get to the vet when he did, I may not be posting this happy ending. I can't thank everyone enough for all your thoughts and prayers
Amber says, Boris my friend, I am so happy that you are better. I just love kissing your head
Boris says Thank You TCS for helping me get better
Im glad he is doing better.
I had a cat named Oreo that got bite by a brown recluse spider once. Her whole face was swollen up and she started to go into shock before we knew what happened to her. I took her to the vet and thank god they gave her anti-biotics, and anti-venom for 4 days and she recovered beautifully. We were fortunate too because the vet said most cats don't make it when bit by these extrmely venomous spiders.
Also my Sammy now likes to play with snakes. I don't know how he has made it this far. He is known for killing and bringing home pigmy rattlesnakes and dropping them on the front porch to scare mommy half to death. I wish I could keep him inside but he is a cat that will make your life miserable if you don't let him outside. And he's a big kitty and he CAN[b] make you unhappy lol
Oh thank God John.........but if you ever make us wait that long again..... So glad he is better!!!
It's so good to see and hear him back to his old rambunctious self again. I thought hmmm, is that thunder I hear? Nope, that's just Amber and Boris running around wrecking the place Yep, it's been 3 days and no more throwing up I am so glad that is over. I know Boris wants out in the enclosure to visit Nakoma, but I am going to give him a couple more days before that happens. Of course, I will be sure to do a toad search each and every time before they go out there. Boris needs to learn from Nakoma and Amber. They leave the toads alone
