My 2 month old kitten threw up and I noticed that there were 2 worms that look like spaghetti. Should I try to give him over the counter dewormer or should I call my vet immediately? Please help

No, don't give anything over the counter. Phone a vet and get a de-wormer from a vet.

Never give over the counter de-wormer. It could cause great harm. Has your kitty been de-wormed by your vet before? Call you vet ASAP to see what you need to do.

Call the vet, it is easily treatable. My vet uses Strongid, which is only available from the vet. It is very safe and effective. If you have multiple cats, they all should be treated, as worms are quite contagious!

It's just round worms, most kittens have them and you need a vet to help out with this, because the meds are based on weight and health of the cat. Usually three treatments are needed.
