Hi Everyone - I just adopted two kittens this weekend. They are both adorable! These are the first cats I've had.. I grew up with dogs my whole life, but living in an apartment I didn't think having a dog would be fair to it, so I got two kittens to keep each other company.
Yesterday night, one of the kittens (12 weeks old) started pushing with his paws and sucking. At first he was doing it to the stomach of the other kitten, but I felt bad that he kept waking the kitten up, so I moved him over next to me. He would claw at my arm in a sort of pushing/grabbing motion with one paw at a time and then he would put his mouth on my arm and bite down lightly. Does anyone know what this is? It seems to me that he is almost looking for milk.. this is what I've seen puppies do to their moms when they feed. Does anyone know what this is, and should I be worried?
thanks!!
