I hope his surgery goes well. He will feel and walk better with the new one. I've heard people say they don't know why they waited so long. vibes {{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}}

Next year, it will happen all over again as he will be getting the other knee done. Both knees have gone due to arthritis.... I keep joking with him that when he go's through security at airports he will set the bleepers off!!!!

I love you daddy, get well soon!
Of course I'll send vibes and prayers for your dear Dad, Gilly. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Gilly, I hope your dad recovers fast from his surgery. He will be in my thoughts and prayers!

I understand what you must be going through because of my own father's illnesses and surgeries. Hang in there!

Hi everyone

My dads operation went okay - but he was in surgery longer than expected as they had some problems with his blood pressure etc... not sure on the details yet, but I know the last time he had an op there were some complications with his blood pressure then. Mum has gone to visit him tonight but she thinks he will still be half out of it!

I am going to visit him tomorrow and I will tell him about this topic that I posted for him! Visiting it from 3pm - 7pm so I am going to meet my mum there. Luckily, it's our local hospital so I can just get a bus that drives straight into the hospital car park and outside his ward. I hate hospitals, but at least I can see my dad

Thank you all for your vibes & wishes. I shall keep you all updated on his progress

Ohhh
mum went to see him last night and he had been moaning to the staff that he was STARVING so they gave him half a turkey sandwich and some lemonade...
My dads a big guy so likes his food (see where I get it from?). Anyway, as soon as my mum turned up he was sick
everywhere all over his bed and pyjamas! It's his fault and their fault as he only came back on the ward at 4pm and ate something at 7pm... silly boy!

Thanks everyone for your vibes!
