I'm sitting here trying to post a pic, but when I click on the little icon, instead of the box appearing up in the left corner for me to put the link in, just IMG shows up in my text. That probably doesn't make any sense to you........

When is the last time you cleaned your browsers cache? I had somthing similiar happening awhile ago with the "quick reply" and cleaning the cache and restarting IE helped solve the problem.

Basically you need to clear out any old cookies or files and restart your computer and maybe that will correct the problem. Go to the top of your screen and click Tools - then Internet Options - then Temporary Internet Files - Delete Cookies/Delete Files.

When I add a pic to a post I never use the buttons above, since all you need to do is add
around the link to your pic.

As example:

Just make sure to remove the spaces that I added after and before IMG. If I didn't add the spaces it would have turned into a picture)

Hope this helps!

When you internet explorer is open - click:

Tools -> Internet Options

About halfway down the "General tab" - there should be a "Temporary internet files" box - click on "Delete Files" and when the next box comes uo - click on "Delete offline" files.

If you haven't done it before, it may take a bit to clean up the junk so don't be worried.
Only clean the "Cookie" one if you are sure you have the passwords and accounts to everything that you have "autofilled" when you go to pages.

Also, give this program a try if you haven't cleaned your pc up before:

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/

It won't get rid of the temporary internet files (like I described above) but it will clean any spyware that you have collected. PS. You don't have to donate any $ to spybot if you don't want to - it is a freeware.

Both steps will potentially speed your pc up a bit.

Sooz -- you're using Photobucket, right? If you copy the third set of code below the picture, it has the
tags already appended, and all you need to do is paste that into your message. You shouldn't need to use the little icons on your message window at all. (If I have misremembered and you're not using Photobucket, you can ignore that palaver and I'll go back to sleep.
