Help!: Kitten Fur is Falling out

My Kitten's fur is falling off his neck and chest!!!! He is approximately six-seven weeks old and is very active and he eats well. is this some kinda of bacteria, illness, and if so, is it serious? Or can it be genetic? This is also the area where his food tends to get stuck to, in which case, is it harmless and will grow back?? Please help, its getting worse and i really dont know what this is, ive looked up information and can't find anything, and one vet said not to worry but he didnt tell us what it was from either.

Should I worry or is it nothing?

RIngworm can do that, but I presume the vet must have checked for that. Also, I think, some vitamin deficiency, but if he is getting a good kitten food he should be OK. So sorry, no other suggestions but I am sure someone else will have better ideas.

i vote for the vet... maybe try not touch that area until he can be seen and wash your hands when you handle him, just in case. Good luck! welcome to the site
