Little Miss Priss Zoe LOVES my old conducting baton. It's her favorite toy...she knows where I keep it and will go to the spot when I ask her where her toy is, and gets QUITE insistant when it's taken away from her. hehe

"Ahh, my toy! I love it so much I will kiss it!!"

"Nooo!! Mom, give it BACK!!"

LOL that is too cute.
I used to have the same problem with drumsticks when I still played..never caught them in the act though.

I have yet to allow my cats to see my conducting baton. I know Alex will chew it to bits. I don't think my students will like watching a baton with teeth marks in it. Lol. Do you still conduct an ensemble?

hehe I'm sure they would get a kick out of a chewed up baton!!

Mine is left over from conducting class in college. I wasn't much of a conductor...I always pittied the ensembles when we had "student conductor" day for conducting class!! All the baton is good for these days is a cat toy.
