the food network

Does anyone else watch the foodnetwork? I have it with my basic cable and just adore it. I love watching Iron Chef (if you don't know it's a competition of cooking in an hour by top chefs), I mean you can't taste teh food but I love watching them run around.

I also really like the Barefoot Contessa, The Italian ones, also even though he is cheesy, I like Emeril.

I like Unwrapped

Ahhh, my favorite station!!! My satellite is off currently, so am missing it, but love Unwrapped, Emeril, Iron Chef, $40 a day....think I just love them all!!

I know, they all rock. I learn from them and I try new things etc. I am just watching all day cause they are doing a spicy day, I love cooking with hot spices.

I like the Italian lady, Giada De Laurentiis-I have a mean baked manicotti from her show, & she is also very pleasant to watch.

Don't forget Good Eats. I think I would have enjoyed my science classes better if they were taught that way. I like the way Alton explains things because then I understand why something is done in a certain manner and if I screw up, I can sometimes recover.

I also like Unwrapped and $40 a Day. Good Eats is pretty entertaining too.

I love Alton Brown in "Good Eats". Also like Barefooted Contessa, Emeril, Unwrapped, and Best Of. I don't get what the deal is with Iron Chef and beside most of the food they cook is just plain gross.

We don't have the food network but I really enjoying watching Iron Chef on the living channel.

I LOVE good eats with alton brown, he is such a cutie, and at the end of the show you feel so smart. That is my ultimate favorite on that channel.....I have considered buying his dvds, that is how much I enjoy him.

My second favorite is Paula Deen. I dont remember what her show is called, but it comes on at 3 pm here. I love how she puts a stick of butter in everything. Her food is so unhealthy, but she is fun to watch.


If I ever get enough money I would like to buy thier cookbooks. That day is most likely a ways off though.... I like unwrapped and secret life of as well.. but they are not my fav, I watch them because they come on after Alton. Rachel Ray used to be one of my fav's but she is on there all the time and has like 5 (30 minute meals, $40 a day, R.R. tasty travels, that one where she sits down with the different famous people and interviews them and eats, and she has some other one I cant think of right now...) different shows now, and honestly just annoys me. Bobby Flay annoys me as well, Emeril is okay in small doses...

I love $40 a Day, Emeril, and 30 minute-meals.

I like Emeril. I love watching him cook. My kids wouldn't eat anything he cooks. Like I could even come close to cooking like he does.

I love watching the cake contests. They look soo good. It's hard to believe that it's made out of sugar and flour!!!

I adore this channel. We have gotten some fantastic recipes from the Barefoot Contessa, Paula Dean and my dh adores Alton Brown - who has taught me some new things about cooking technique and encouraged my dh to cook (where to my delight I've seen him become a superb cook)

I also love Mario Batalli, Emeril, and Iron Chef is standard tv fare here

Today's line up was really good, they had a theme of hot and spicy so all of the shows had that.Barefoot Contessas did a tequila chicken I want to try.
And Michael Chiarello did a roasted red pepper soup I want to do also.

Exactly...then I fire up the printer and pop them in my "to try" loose-leaf binder

I like Unwrapped, Good Eats and Food Emergency because Tyler Florence is a cutie patootie . Emeril is fun to watch, too.
