I adopted a new little girl a week and a half ago. Her name is Monique and she's a polydactyl.
The box Monique is in, she took over the minute it hit the floor. She plays with those little plastic toys and then puts them in the box and gets in with them.

Nugent was the last feral that moved in with me almost a year ago now I think. As is obvious, since Nugie had his 9 teeth removed he has no problems eating at all.

He has taken it upon himself to be groomer to all the other cat in the house with the exception of Magic who will have none of that from him.

I think he is working on being accepted by Monique so he can start grooming her too.

Monique wants nothing to do with the other cats yet, but she is establishing her place and exploring more every day.

One day I hope to get a picture of her and Precious together. They look so much alike in their markings. Monique is just a little darker grey than Precious though and a bit bigger too.

Actually, Monique, (the one in the box), seems to be a bit of a grump. I just adopted her Saturday, July 30th and she is still in adjustment mode, but I am going to take her into the vet this next week to make sure she has no physical problems I have not been made aware of.

Nugent, (the orange and white), is a sweetheart. The only things he ever does to get in trouble is vie with Magic for dominating role occasionally and open the kitchen screen to let himself outdoors.

If I forget to close the kitchen window most of the way after getting everyone in at night, then I can count on the fact that Nugie will let himself and everyone else out. He really isn't sneaky about it. He has gone up and opened the screen and gone out that way while Steve and I were sitting right in the kitchen. I told my mate he probably thinks he's doing us a favor by not making us get up to let him out.
