his paw hurts

Has anyone had experience with their cats swollen paw? my Baxter has been limping around with a swollen front pad for the last few days or so, of course, I rushed him to the vet!! She thinks that maybe he got a spider bite since he is an indoor-only cat...he is on antibiotics now and seems to be doing better....I am confused!! Thanks for your help!! Kim

Will help him in his discomfort. The antibiotics will help as well and if you can contain him into either a cage or a small room and just let him sleep, he will recover faster. Cats have a way when they are injured of going into a corner and shutting down to mend faster.
