Feeding important people....wow!

Hey guys, just a bit of a "brag" here.....Last night we catered a dinner for the Alabama Alumni Association of Walker County....for their fall kickoff deal... Lots of "semi-important" people there from town, bankers and lawyers and such ..BUT.....also there was "the" Robert Whitt......president of the University of Alabama!@!! Actually left me speechless when they told me this!

Wow! I'm impressed! Were they impressed with the food?

Yes ma'am! Of course, the lady who was in charge of getting the catering done loves it anyway, lol! She calls Charlie her "new best friend", lol! As a matter of fact, she and one of the other ladies there went to the expense of having him 500 business cards professionally done and some of the standup placards that read "Catering done by Happy Face Bakery".....

oooh what a coup Cindy to get such a great contract I hope the event went ok!

Thanks guys! Catering events like that works your butt off, but it's great fun....and you do meet some of the most interesting people........

I have a friend who did catering in Southern CA and actually worked Oprah's 40th birthday event, and one at one point Arnie asked her to cut a piece of cake for him and it was this big cake with Oprah's face on it and Arnie said "I vant her mouth". Funny story. She also worked post OScar parties.
She said Steven Spielberg has no social skills, just sits there with his baseball hat on and doesnt' talk to anybody. She said Tom Cruise and Nicole were actually quite nice and Nicole is even Prettier in person believe it or not.
