Just wanted to ask for good vibes for one of our rescue cats, Alex, and me.
I'm driving him to his new home in Louisville tomorrow. It's a two hour drive, so will probably be pretty stressful for the big guy. Also, I'm hoping not to lose it when I turn him over to his new mom. As usual, I've become way to attached to him.

Also, going on a little mom/daughter trip the first part of next week. We're going to Madison, Indiana, also a couple of hours away. It's supposed to be
a pretty little town on the Ohio River with alot of beautiful old houses and antique shops. We both really need this time away to unwind!

I love road trips. Good vibes for yours and your rescue kitty. Be safe and don't forgert to take out that 2nd mortgage for gas money. lol

Now, to be fair and accurate, you have to make sure you are converting to US gallons, which are a different measure than British gallons.

I converted our price per litre (Canadian dollars) to price per gallon ($US/GallonUS) and found out that at about the highest price around here, we're paying the equivalent of US$2.77 per gallon. That's not as much more as I thought, usually gas in the US is a LOT cheaper than in Canada.

I'm sorry you have gotten attached to the kitty. I know I would, but good for you for taking care of him and finding a home !!!

I'm certain you will enjoy Madison. It's been several years since I was there but often thought about going back because it was so quaint.

{{{{{GOOD VIBES}}}}} for your road trips and congratulations on finding a new forever family for Alex, Eileen! Yes, it will be hard to give him up, kinda like when your firstborn moves out to their own place, but if it's best for him, it's best. Your mom/daughter trip sounds wonderful! I love quaint little towns. Please share your adventures with us! And enjoy your new home, Alex!

Wow. Last time I got gas it was $2.27 and I thought that was expensive!!

I recently went on a road trip as well (NJ to FL) and the cheapest we got was near Savannah, GA at $2.04!

Have fun on your trip and take lots of pictures!
