i know ive asked these before but..

I am a bad owner.... but i really didnt have any other choice...

I just booked teufel finally in for tuesday at the vet to get castrated.
I couldnt get an appointment any earlier...
I took a loan from the bank to pay off everything and the first thing i did was to call the vet.
He will be 1 next month, i feel so bad for letting it on for 3 months but.. finally i have money for emergency, and to get him neutered.

So could some of you send us vibes, because
1. ive been crying and worried like a nervous reck, and secondly to send him vibes that the operation goes all good.. and that he will recover well!

Thanks guys!

He will be just fine!

You are not a bad owner - you are doing what you can as you can, it is all any of us can do. I am sure the op will go well and he will feel better for it. I can't believe he is almost one year old already!

You are certainly not a bad owner Mr T loves you as much as you love him. I am sure that he will be fine though, you'll see!

(vibes for T )

Lots of prayers for Teufel and his Mommy, Fwan! It is so natural to be nervous about this. We all know just what you're going through. Good for you for making the best decision for your little boy!

thank you everyone,
my landlady reccomended to go to her vet as her vet has done all of her families cats. so she reassured me that everything will be okay. I feel bad about moving because this appartment complex is just full of cats and the new one we will move into is just full of dogs.

well im looking at new cat beds and cat trees, so i think i will get him a new set. while he is at the vets.. i hope he will like it!

You are doing the right thing Miss Fran- THAT is what matters . Teufel will do just fine, though I know that won't ease your worries completely (never does for anyone whose baby is getting the surgery).
Sending lots of good vibes you and Mr. T's way!!! {{{{}}}}

I brought him home he raced out of his carrier and was his same normal pesky self.

Lots of good vibes for you! He will be just fine. I understand though, I was a nervous wreck when Abby was spayed, and we had onyl had her 3 days!

I don't know why we worry so much over such simple surgeries, but as Sugartoes was just spayed 8 days ago, I totally understand. You look at them afterwards, and although they are fine, you still keep worrying!

Sugar is doing well now, and I know Teufel will be fine. You are totally doing the right thing for this boy!

i am worried bacause the last time i got a cat spayed she had to be put down with in two weeks of her surgery. She also had her arm amputated and it broke our hearts.
when we got a boy neutered he got run over a week later so we really had bad luck back then..
Since teufel is a house cat, he does not dare to go outside.
I had a friend who is a vet nurse and she got her guinea pig neutered late last year, it died a month later because it licked the area.

i know that 95% out of 100 cats will be fine, but there is always a risk

today i went to the pet store to get the cat tree i wanted but they had sold out, i tried several stores and the cat trees i wanted had sold out, and the same version just smaller was tripple the price of the one on sale this week, the cat toy selection was b/s.. so i ended up buying a few cat grass kits, dried fish and expensive wet food. Tomorrow im going to walmart and see if there are any cat trees for a decent price there.

what is wrong with pet shops these days!

Thank you everyone for supporting me.

Aw! I understand how people worry for their fur-babies.

But while with a rescue-group I saw video of kittens getting nuetered. This man nuetered 5 boy kittens in 5 minutes, it was so quick and non-invasive, just two little snips! I wish anyone nervous could see it, because it would make them relax a little bit.

Fwan, it will be ok, but I'm sending tons of good vibes for you my friend!!

awww...He'll be fine. It is normal for us to worry, all the same! Best of luck to you both!
Sending good vibes to you both ... while working at the animal hospital and shelter, I assited on many a neuter and spay surgery (on everything from 120 pound rotweilers to 2 pound bunny rabbits), and believe me - he'll have no idea what happened! It seriously is just a few little snips and it's over, spaying surgery is a little more invasive... it's understandable that you're worried though, we all worry and it's because we love them ... let us know how the little guy does!
