A Vacation thread?

That would be awesome! Would a third one go off though?

I'd be there with my case!

I'd love another too, but I just haven't got the time It was so time consuming - but very fun!

I don't think I'd have the time either. With three hour mock exams coming up for each subject and then the real exams just a month or two later I'm going to be studying!

Well Candie, since I don't have my work time on TCS anymore, I doubt I could be there very much, but that first one we did was a blast.......I"m sure there are lots of people here that COULD be there.........I say give it a try.......SUSAN! Do you have your wind cheaters and cossie????

It was a suggestion. We had past by one of the restaurants I took ya'll "to" last time the other night. So, I was wondering what would everyone think. I also doubt I would have the time to come on here as much starting in 2 weeks...school starts again and I'll be leaving on my cruise on the 27th. Also, on top of everything...I have to put in 5-10 hours a week (on top of everything else) for my internship between now and May. I could only jump in and out every so often.

Totally understandable Candie........perhaps someone else would like to offer and "host" the vacation thread........

I think I will sit back and watch this one since I don't have anything to share more about my area. But would enjoy looking at new places that everyone lives in

Ari wants to go on vacation!! He wants to try out his speedos. (Thongs were Jasper's thing.)

Instead of hopping one place to another over a month or two I was wondering if doing "weekend" type trips would work better. It wouldn't require a long time commitment for folks.

And besides, Susan hasn't ripped her knickers in a looong while!

Say more, Jan. That sounds like it has possibilities!

I hear everyone loud and clear about not being able to spend a lot of time during the week. I certainly can't -- at least not predictably or reliably -- during working hours. Heck, for the last one, I took the two days off when I was hosting, because I knew I couldn't do it otherwise.

But the vacations are so fun! It would be good to do something of the sort again.

I would also agree!! If we were to do each city every weekend, that would be fun!!

Every time we have a vacation thread here, I develop serious health or physical problems and have to drop out and miss all the fun!!!! So if we do have a third vacation thread, I'm HOPING to actually be able to participate this time. ***crosses fingers***

I really enjoyed hosting my bit, but I am not sure I could do it again before the spring! And it might bore people to go back to places.

What do you mean a vaction thread. Does someone have time to give a quick overview of what your talking about? Please.

Yes, that is what I was trying to say. Every weekend someone hosts. If we've done your city/area, maybe take us somewhere else? Remember when Susie took us to the clothing optional beach? Poor Rigel didn't open his eyes for two days!

Even if we only spend a weekend someplace, some of us (who me?!?!) are good at setting up "interesting" scenarios.

And for those with problems with hosting on weekends, maybe start on Friday...
