Kitten with bulging eyes

I have a rescue kitten that is about 4 months old. I have noticed the kitten
has bulging eyes and seems to limp when walking. I will be going to the vet
this afternoon to have this checked out. Does anyone have any general
ideas why a kitten may have bulging eyes. I understand hyperthyroidism can
cause this but I think hyperthyroidism is seen in older adult cats.

If you have any experience with kittens with bulging eyes, please share.

I would be very concerned about hydrocephalus. Have you taken the kitten to the vet? That would be a good place to start. Good luck with your kitten!

The kitten has a sinus infection and antibiotics were prescribed.
