But do you know the sad thing is, one of my best friends just told me yesterday that she hasn't been for one for over 20 years!
I can't even talk any sense into her!
Trust me, with the trouble my mom has been having the past few days (had a rather large polyp removed, almost had to have an emergency hysterectomy) its not worth it to neglect your, um, female health!
Esp. if she's over 40 she REALLY needs to get a mammogram yearly! I have had too many friends who have lost mothers, grandmothers to breast cancer.
Tell her if she goes to the gyno you'll take her out to a fancy dinner once a year on the day of her annual! Or maybe buy her a nice bottle of perfume or something to reward her for being good!
Some people are just afraid of the doctor--I myself am a few months overdue for my dental cleaning and need to just bite the bullet and schedule an appt.!
