My beautiful Black male, Benja-
Omg those are some intense eyes! They're so orange and constricted. Zita the cat I'm looking to adopt has eyes similar to your Benja's daughter, but with more dilated pupils.

Oh I don't think Zita has any white patches, just the odd white strand of fur, same with her mom.

Anyone have a non-flashed picture of a black cat with brown eyes?

Buffy posing for pictures on Willow's birthday (May 18). I'd gotten that red harness for Willow's birthday, but I couldn't find her so Buffy got to test it out first.

Lunging for a leaf I'd dropped for her (I dropped a lot of things, so maybe it wasn't a leaf)

Rolling on the sidewalk

Awww, she used to have such a trim figure back in the day (May 2nd, lol). Now she's getting a saggy belly and she's only 2 years old!

Humping a tree
. See how dull her coat is? This was taken back when she was on Royal Canin and she did horrible on it (while Willow did great). Now she's back to shinyness on a different food.

Sunning herself

Buffy one's of those cats with the bald patches in front of her ears

Okay, I'll stop with the pictures

Haha, this is so fun getting to see everyone's black cats.
It's fairly uncommon. My first cat was a black petite Bombay, named Kitty. She was a stray that found me. She had pure amber eyes and a very silky coat. She had the cutest disposition and was sweet and loving to her last days. She also was smart, self-sufficient, and extremely loyal. I moved 6 times during those years and each time she adjusted rapidly w/o any issues. She was a little light!

Just to be different here is Ellie from the back, on the balcony:

And here she is asleep:

In some lights she is blue/black, in others chocolate/black. But she has no white hairs (yet)
