I know I'm not around alot but can I ask....

for some vibes on a new job??? I Have a new job that is on the horizion and the only thing I am worried about is they need to call and talk to a former manager about my attendance and things of that nature before they will give me an interview, well my manager and my district manager are the only ones I could put down( can't lie right?) so I'm hoping that they don't say bad things so that the people won't call me for an interview. This is a job I REALLY want.
So I'm hoping that even though I'm not around alot, maybe you can spare a few say good things and get the job vibes for me?? I'd appreciate it a super bunch!!!

Do they have any laws about these things where you are? Over here, you aren't allowed to give a bad reference, the most you can do is refuse to answer.

They can refuse or give a generalised reference - yes.....came to work and worked....things like that!
