Hello there, this is my first post...my 1 1/2 year old Siamese/Manx mix has started-within the last two weeks-eating his feces. I thought that he was developing some sort of fastidiousness concerning the litter box when I found droppings in other parts of the house but one evening I actually saw him throw it up and began to worry. I've not caught him actually eating it but it's happened about 5-10 times since. I'm well aware that dogs eat cat feces and, while I've often joked that Bacchus is really a dog, I doubt very seriously that's the reason why he's doing it. Any help is much appreciated!

Are you sure it was feces? Hairballs look very similar to feces when they throw them up. Next time, you need to squeeze it with a paper towel and if it is really wet and comes apart, it's a hairball. In that case I would start supplimenting the diet with an omega fatty acid or a product such as laxatone.
If he really is, then it's not very common. In that case, you can buy a product from a vet usually called FOR BID to mix in with the food. It makes thier feces taste awful. You can also try supplimenting with a multi vitamin for cats or looking into a higher quality food perhaps.
