So it was time for me to buy kitty litter so I stopped by petsmart for my feline pine. I swung by the adoptable kitties, and didnt get the nagging feeling that I should take everyone home with me (a first I must say).

Then I went over to cat food and I could not believe my eyes
They had Royal Canin Adult Fit 32, the perfect food for CJ. I have been looking for it and no one around here had it until now. YAY! So even though he did not need dry food for another month or so, I still bought the large $18 bag.

Then I went back to the litter area and I was sad because I could not find the big bag of feline pine. Well I finally realized why, because the big bag is now purple. So I pick it up and I think to myself, this feels weird. I look at the front and it is new feline pine SCOOPABLE! The only problem I had with feline pine before is it was kinda hard to scoop out kitty pee. Now problem solved!!!

I decided to try CJ on a new wet food and the one I wanted was on sale for 45 cents a packet when it is normally 56 cents. YAY! I got him a couple of rattle balls and a couple of packs of his old food as well. And then when I checked out it was only 45 bucks! Normally I am close to 60 bucks. I was so excited and this made my day. As I was walking back to my car I was thinking how I couldnt believe my luck and I just had to post this on TCS. This really did make my day.

I did learn that Pit-r-Pat is not going to make the kitty treats anymore and petsmart and petco are all sold out. That is sad because it is CJs most favorite treat in the world. They still have quite a bit of boxes at Bed Bath and Beyond so I am going to buy a box of 24 of them so by the time CJ runs out we can find something else he likes. All in all a good trip though.

it always happens to me as well! Now that I am a fan of feline pine they are probably going to stop making that as well now.

It is litter made from pine trees. The normal feline pine comes in these pellets (kinda like bunny food) and as the kitty uses it the pellets break down into a softer kinda powder. It holds odors really well and doesnt use any perfumes to cover it up. It has been lasting us about 2 weeks if I scoop out poo when needed. (I only have one cat, but I also change it before it gets completly used up though) It doesnt stick to the bottom of the litter pan like many other litters do. I dont need to change litter until saturday, at which time I will put in the new scoopable and tell you guys how well that one works. It really is good litter though, I was first thrown off by the pellets, but cj does well with it, and now I am a big fan.
