Do you have a favorite memory when you were a kid?

Snuggling in bed with my Great-Grandmother and watching The Lawrence Welk Show.

When I was six, I had a "puppy love", if you'd even call him, a "boyfriend." He gave me a ring one day that he won in a game at VBS (bubblegum machine ring, but it was special to a 6 year old!), and I don't think that's something I'll forget.

My Grandfather.
There are so many good memories there it's hard to say..it's something that I could never put into words.

Anything involving my grandmother. She raised me from the age of 3 until she passed away when I was 13. I can't pick one favourite as I have so many memories of her.

I have some wonderful memories. I cannot narrow down to one favorite.

I do remember one Christmas getting snow skis, boots and poles and bawling my head off because I thought it was too expensive for my parents to buy me

It's interesting to see how many people say that some of their fondest memories are that of their grandparents. I would agree. I loved my grandma very much and any time spent with her was great. Also all the time spent with the rest of my family...when we'd all get together for Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Lots of "Daddy and his Little Girl" things -- no way I could pick one over the others.

Going to my grandparents in Arizona for Christmas. Too sad now though. I miss my grandpa(I was grandpa's little girl )

I have a lot of good memories, but one that always comes to mind and makes me smile is when I would get ready for bed. My mom would tell me it's time for bed and I would go give my dad a hug & kiss goodnight and he would drum his fingers on my head and say "do de do di doo dee" (like an old computer in movies working) to put sweet dreams in my head.

I have such wonderful memories of my Nana and Grandad! Too many to choose just one!

One of my favorite memories is when I got to stay with my best friend while my parents were adopting my brother. It was only a few years ago, because I was about 10, and now I'm 14. I know I annoyed my friend, but it was so much fun for me. Like a lllloooooonnnnggg sleepover. 2 1/2 weeks.

Anything involved with my sweet great grandmother

Wow.... you guys all seem to have something really nice you remember. I'm sad to say I don't remember much. Most of my happy feelings were squeezed out of me by that evil swine of an ex boyfriend. He literally leeched all the good stuff out of me and four years on in the care of someone so amazing as Rune, I'm still recovering. It's a long road, but I'm getting there slowly but surely and handin hand with someone who's willing to help me every step of the way. My happiest memory is actually Alex. And the day he climbed into my lap and said "look mummy, I've got something to show you" and he lifted a tea-towel (stolen from the kitchen, I might add ) and revealed that he'd arranged all of his little toy cars in a big heart shape on the floor and he flung his arms around my legs and said "I love you mummy". Some of my memories of Alex are double-edged swords... but that one, fortunately, is still unspoiled.
