I am very sorry to hear about Bean. I have a cat whose nickname is Bean and he had flat-chested kitten syndrome and a heart murmur, but he is pretty healthy now. He just gets out of breath easy when he plays or runs around and has to lie down and rest.

I'm so sorry about your loss of Bean. I can see that he was a loving and precious pet. Always think fondly of him as he is always with you in spirit. I have lost many cat pets and I know they are always with me. I own a cat named Taffy now...see the picture below. If I ever lose her I know she was loved by me and my family and will always be with me. My prayers are with you.

Condolences, Liz, on the loss of Bean. You will find many friends here who understand, as only another cat lover can understand. It is so difficult when cats don't give us any hints of their severe illnesses.

I encourage you to read the "sticky" posts at the top of this thread. They really can offer comfort at a difficult time.

Welcome to TCS. I hope you stay, and tell us more about Bean and your other pets.

Becky

Condolences on the loss of your kittycat, Bean. He crossed the Bridge with a name, and knowing that he was loved by a wonderful family. For those of us left behind, it can sure be tough. Our cats are just so wonderful, their loss is as great as the happiness and amusement that they brought to our lives. I am hoping and praying that you will find comfort and healing soon. Hugs, Susan
