WXRT Chicago...it's basically an alt-rock station, but they generally play a really good variety.

Come to think of it, since the dawn of iPod/iTunes, I don't listen to much radio anymore...hmmm...

I never really listen to the radio anymore, but when I used to it was:

XL106.7 - Top 40, 90's & today
Real Rock 101.1 - Alternative, rock
102 Jams (101.9) - R&B, hip-hop

All Orlando, FL stations!

Oh, I'm a CBC girl! The Radio One (usually AM) offerings are local, and in the local time. The Radio Two offerings (FM) are streamed out of Toronto, so always in Eastern Time. (Weird to check the feed on the computer, and hear the programme that WILL BE on three hours from now on the radio!) Only relevant if you want to check programme listings, otherwise music is music, eh?

Radio Two is where I spend my time. The offerings are largely classical, but with quite a bit of jazz, world music, alternative music, etc., and enough news to know when I need to search out more detail. Radio One is more news and talk and documentary and assorted music thrown in.

I love XM Satellite Radio! X-Country (that's pronounced cross country) is the best station ever. They play all the really good alternative country music that mainstream radio would never play. The Reverand Horton Heat's Rockabilly Radio Show is so much fun to listen to, and they have my favorite, Webb Wilder, as their afternoon DJ. It is broadcast from the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Since it is satellite radio, you can listen to it from the east coast to the west coast.
Work hard, Rock hard, Eat hard, Sleep hard, Grow big, Wear glasses if ya' need 'em! The Webb Wilder credo!

Well it used to be KISW , until they canned my favorite morning host and his crew.

Not sure what station he's at now, or where, but he was Bob Rivers &Twisted Radio

Bob Rivers moved to the AM show on KZOK 102.5 FM. Hubby listens to them. Unfortunately this station is the only one is Seattle that hasn't jumped on the live stream bandwagon.
