Yes!!!!! Its done that to me every day for the last two weeks, especially when I try to move things to my new apartment after work.
This past weekend, mom was complaining about how dry it was, and the day I go to pick up the cats (their breeder is 45 minutes from my hometown) it poured down! lol I think someone's trying to keep me inside.

I agree, but only if I'm not planning on going somewhere. I love listening to the sound of the rain hitting the roof.
But, it is kinda spooky when the sky changes so quickly.

I'm getting that right now. Looks fine and now we're getting a fine little storm. I don't worry about it too much except that DH will have to ride home in the rain if it's raining when he gets off, and drivers don't see motorcycles at the best of times, never mind when it's raining

I can only hope that happens here soon!!!! I just finished unloading 100 bales of hay(each one weighing 80 lbs) about an hour ago, and it's 96' degrees outside with extremely high humidity here right now. And I feel like I've been hit by a truck after all that! A good storm would cool it down, and maybe I'll be able to breath again!

I love it, too! Usually at this time of year we get big thunderstorms that move in fast & leave as quickly as they came. Not only is it a beautiful noise, but a welcome relief with the cooling winds & rain.
In the winter when a cold front moves in, you can actually see it, a long almost straight dark line of clouds.
