I LOVED THIS AND HAD TO SHARE WITH U GUYS!!

Jacob, age 92, and Rebecca, age 89, living in Florida, are all excited
about their decision to get married. They go for a stroll to discuss the
wedding, and on the way they pass a drugstore. Jacob suggests they go in.

Jacob addresses the man behind the counter: "Are you the owner?"

The pharmacist answers, "Yes."

Jacob: "We're about to get married. Do you sell heart medication?"

Pharmacist: "Of course we do."

Jacob: "How about medicine for circulation?"

Pharmacist: "All kinds."

Jacob: "Medicine for rheumatism and scoliosis?"

Pharmacist: "Definitely."

Jacob: "How about Viagra?"

Pharmacist: "Of course."

Jacob: "Medicine for memory problems, arthritis, jaundice?"

Pharmacist: "Yes, a large variety. The works."

Jacob: "What about vitamins, sleeping pills, Geritol, antidotes
for Parkinson's disease?"

Pharmacist: "Absolutely."

Jacob: "You sell wheelchairs and walkers?"

Pharmacist: "All speeds and sizes."

Jacob: "We'd like to use this store as our Bridal Registry."

I guess my sense of humour when a condition I have was listed in that joke. It is not funny to those of who suffer from any of those ailments - don't mean to be a contrarian and I actally have a great sense of humour but I just do not like t laugh at the medical problems people have. Maybe it'smy professional ethics as well. I nean, I did once laugh at a joke calling Fla "God's waiting room" (my parents live there in the winter) but I somehow cannot see frivoltry and comedy in the pain of others, elderly and otherwise. There is some ageism there too. (tho it's nice they can still see two elderly ppl having a good relationship but then they refer to ailments.) My parents are extremely healthy in their 70's and I would never show this joke to my mom - she'dbe utterly horrifed!!
