Rambo (5 mos) has been acting a little off lately, i figured he was still feeling a little icky from surgery. But i looked inside his mouth and he has 2 canines on each side (i guess his adult teeth didn't push out the baby teeth). His gums look sore though he's eating properly. I'm waiting to hear back from the vet but was wondering.....how hard isn't it to fix this? I've had people tell me they have to put him to sleep to pull them out and others say they don't. Since the adult teeth are all the way in I have to assume that they aren't going to fall out naturally.

Any one else had this happen? What did the vet do?

Buddy had this happen when he was growing his adult teeth. The adult canines grew in beside his baby ones. The vet said to wait a bit, as the babies might still push out, and they did, all on their own. I'd say give it about a week more. Otherwise I know the vet can remove the babies, but I'm not sure how exactly!
