I have a kitten that I rescued from my husband's Aunt's house (over 50 cats, not one of them is neutered/spayed, they are all left outside to be eaten by coyotes, wolves and owls
), and we weren't sure of what age he was, just that he had a bite on his neck that needed to be taken care of. Well, he's healthy and rambunctious and kitten-y (and fixed). But he has this habit of suckling on fingers, noses and earlobes. And I think it's cute, but I want him to appreciate his non-suckling pettings also. So how do I get him to like being petted without suckling?
