Does anyone know why she does this? Does she want to make sure I'm still alive so I feed her? :-D

Thanks!!!

My Jack does the same thing. Besides sticking his nose up mine, he also sticks his nose into my ears, or tries getting into my eyes...I love it really, except when I'm not expecting it, then it will shock me in a way, and I'll end up sneezing, or have an itch deep in my ear for awhile. I've never figured out what he's looking for. Although when I bottle fed him, the only way he would take the bottle was if he was on my chest, with him on his tummy with his head upright under my chin, and the bottle was usually close around my nose or ear. Maybe he still has a little memory of that and is looking for that mommy security feeling. Kind of like when cats kneed you when they are really comfortable.

Hi, they are trying to get you to regurgitate food for them like their mothers did... basically they're saying they want to eat.

My kitties shove their noses in my nose, ears, mouth, i think they are trying to "read" me. cats use scent to tell about themselves, this is why they smell each others butts and everything, of course, you wouldn't want a cat smelling your butt!! Mine get that deep open mouthed smell, they love my ears, haha. then they cuddle, weridos.

Not to be rude, or anything...

I've never in my life seen a mother cat regurgitate her food for her kittens. As far as I know, it's not something cats do. Am I just totally missing something here?

Has anyone else seen this???

no, you weren't the only one to miss this. cats don't regurgitate, i meant to post that earlier. believe me, if they did, when my cat had kittens i would have turned green,
they slowly went on to hard food.

I thought I'd really missed something when that reply came up, that's why I didn't say anything

I was looking for information about cats sticking their nose in your ear, and this is as close as I came--your post.  I've heard that cats sense when you are ill, particularly cancer... so I was wondering if you had been ill?

The OP hasn't been on this site since august 2006. I don't think you'll get a response anytime soon.

Why does it matter?  I am aware that there is other information out there.  However, this was easily visible on the internet, and I was specifically curious as to this person's experience is why. Thank you.

My entire response was aimed at telling you specifically and exactly why you shouldn't expect a response from the original poster. Your whole goal was to communicate with the OP, and I was simply telling you that you will not get a response from them.

This member hasn't posted her in over five years, so I doubt you will get a response. Perhaps you could try PM'ing them? If you start a new thread others may have suggestions. :)
