Snow in August-

She is absolutely gorgeous and looks like she is already quite comfy in her new home! My brother had a Samoyed and she does look quite similar. Best of luck to you, you husband and all your furry babies with your new addition!

Well, I've got a Pekingese so you know I'm a fan of long hair anyways!

When I was researching I was really taken with Belgian Tervurens and Belgian Shepherds, and their hair is much longer than regular GSD's I believe.

She's gonna be gorgeous!

I have to say that is the most beautiful "snow" I've ever seen in August! She can come visit us in Canada at any time she wants.

She is beautiful. I've always loved German Shepherds. I was at a golf driving range one evening and they had 2 of them behind the counter. I'm too stupid about animals to be afraid so I started cooing and talking to them and was petting one of them when the owner came out of the back room and almost fainted. He couldn't believe the dog let me pet it - he said only he or his wife could pet them.

My friend also had one a number of years ago and when they went on vacation the kennel they boarded her in lost her dog. The dog got out and they never found her. My friend and her husband were devastated.

She has quite the nose and has already unearthed one unfortunate mole, a lizard and a tree frog-

I've never seen a long haired German Shepherd before. Snow is such a pretty little thing. I notice her ears are already standing up quite well.
