I noticed some of the kittens eyes are kinda goopy and some stuck closed. I wiped them clean with a warm cloth and they opened right up. I called the vet and he said it was normal because it's been raining alot and he's seen alot of animals with colds in thier eyes. is this true or should I call another vet?

Sounds to me like the beginning of an upper respiratory infection (URI). URI's in kittens especially, can quickly become serious. Find another vet and take the kittens in for a look to be on the safe side.

Yes, I agree with that. While an eye "cold" might be common in kittens, it's nothing to sneeze at (sorry). While these do often resolve on their own, complications can affect vision. And these are more serious in kittens than in adult cats, anyway.
