We all know how trouble seems to show up in 3's or bad things happen in groups of 3. Well last week as many of you read my post know, my van died. So I figured to be riding the bicycle for a while.

Well guess what?? Yup you guessed it. Some S.O.B. stole my Frinking bicycle last night. I was going to go to the store about 11 this morning and when I go to get the bike the 2X2 fence post that it was locked to was busted and the bike gone.

So now I am a bit paranoid about what will happen next.

1. A piano falls out of a window and crunches me.
2. Get hit by a bus or truck or car.
3. An airplane falls on me while I am trying to avoid the Bus, etc.etc.etc...

Any of y'all have any suggestions of what I should avoid? Or should I just go and get it over with, whatever it is?

I think that you should watch out for ice on the sidewalk in August. You might slip.

I hope that things improve for you fast.

Someone is trying to tell you to stay home. Maybe you should be watching the cats.
They are mighty sneaky at times.

Things you should avoid? Hmmm, let's see, you should avoid.......

Rubbing your eyes after you've peeled an onion
Walking through a jungle when there are lions, tigers and bears on the loose
Touching a skunk who has just sprayed
Putting your hand in the way of a door slamming
Crawling on your hands and knees across a heavy intersection
Blowing on your horn when you're behind a group of Hell's Angels
Waking up in the clothes you wore to last nights party and seeing there aren't any
Trying to walk on a tight rope that is shredding

I'll think of some more for you, ok?

It won't be the whole plane, just the "blue ice" from the plane.

That happened on an episode of Six Feet Under.

Yeah that's what you call being bombed by an ICyBM.

The fact that your bike was stolen may have actually been a good thing. Maybe a higher power was looking out for you. Look at it this way. It may have been possible that if you did ride your bike, that something really bad could have happened to you. That's how I try to look at it when strange things like this happen. For instance, just a few days ago, I was getting ready for work and I had to walk out to my car before getting ready. When I opened the door to the house to go outside, a stray cat tried to RUN right into our home. (I never saw the cat, he/she was under my car) Well, Amber saw this and she bolted after that cat so fast, that I had no time to shut the door. Yes, Amber got out and was gone in less than 2 seconds. She was that fast. Of course, this had to happen 10 minutes before I had to leave for work, and I was not even dressed for work yet. So, I had to call my employer and tell them what had happened. There was no way I could have gone to work and left Amber out there. I had to get her, since being an extic cat, I could not let her run free.(Being in a very rural area, she could have slipped into the wild and never returned) After I got off the phone with my employer, I took a few minutes to compose myself. I got the items I needed to bring Amber back home, walked out the door and there she was in our neighbors back yard
I was able to catch her and bring her back inside. All this took about 10-15 minutes and I was late for work about the same amount of time. So, as bad as this situation was for me at the moment, I did ask myself. Was there a different reason for this whole episode? If I had left for work at my normal time, would I have been in a horrible traffic accident? I know it may sound silly, but sometimes these types of things just make you sit, think and wonder. As for the stray cat, he/she is ok

I gather you are about to adopt the little ditty from Hee-Haw that goes "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all..."?

What bad luck you are having at the moment, Howard.

Sending you 'GOOD LUCK' vibes - hope they arrive OK and your luck improves before you get anywhere near the bus

You could always MAKE something bad happen - break something in the kitchen for example, then you will have had your three bad things and you can go out safely!!!! But seriously, I am sorry about the van and the bik and I hope you get mobile again soon.
