Polly loves to drink water out of people glasses. I will usually let her have a little bit out of my glass and then finish drinking it. My husband thinks this is totally disgusting.

Will you drink after your cat?

I think that's Ewwwwwww.... LOL. Nope, I don't. It's just not sanitary, in my opinion.

I have no problem with it.
Cats and dogs have far cleaner mouths than humans.

I won't drink after another human, I certainly won't drink after a dog or cat, that licks their butt

That's what I tell my husband, but he doesn't believe me :-)

Well, I kiss my cat's nose all the time. Isn't that about the same thing?
But I wouldn't drink watter from her bowl

I don't drink out of their bowl, but Polly seems to get such a kick out of drinking from a human glass.

Not only do I drink after them, I eat after them, too.

If there's a piece of cheese or something Dusty didn't finish I'll eat it. When Hammie was a baby, he had a hankering for Pizza, and came up and took a piece right out of my mouth!

Dori doesn't drink after me because she just isn't that interested in people food or drinks... but if she did I would. I kiss her all over her face and nose so I don't think it would be that different. I don't drink after other people, except my fiance.

Ummm.... nope. I will not drink out of a glass if I know one of my cats has drank from it. Same goes for food. You lick it and it's yours!!

DEFINTIELY!
A glass cannot be put down without Oliver at least inspecting it and usually sampling
... I'd waste a lot of food and drink if I didn't share with him... he often shares my dinner (chicken, tuna, beef) and whatever he doesn't finish, I will... my dog also shares food with me and even eats from a fork
- I definitely agree that dogs and cats have much cleaner mouths than humans - they have a higher count of the "good" kind of bacteria in their mouths... plus on top of all that, kisses from the two usually end up in the mouth or nose no matter how hard I try to protect those two orifices!
I take it as
love
- "I love you so much that I'm not afraid to share with you!"

Nope, not the cats. But I have no problem drinking after the birds.

Lola drinks out of my glass...she actually quite likes V8 Juice...and I'll drink up after her, which I feel is fine, since cats have that tongue designed for cleaning and, you know, she doesn't exactly backwash a whole lot
