Gosh... My birthday was in June. Do you think I'll still be addicted to TCS next June?
But wait.... Izzie's birthday is August 26th and she'll be a big ONE year!!!

I agree with Sam though. I wasn't raised to advertise for birthday gifts. It's almost like saying "If you like me, then prove it by buying me a gift". My family celebrates birthdays with a card and simple "happy birthday" phone call. Nonetheless, I think the "list" you are creating is special ocassions in general or as a gesture in kind, right?

It depresses me if anyone remembers my birthday. I am done having birthdays. I usually take the day off so I don't mope about all day.

Just remember guys, this isn't a "gift sending list" This is just a list of Cat Site members addresses in case someone wants to send them a hello, a card for any occasion, etc. I don't want anyone getting thier feelings hurt if they think it's just a birthday gift type thing........ like Susan, I send her things periodically just because........

it would feel funny, i guess it's cool because even if you get a card it would mean someone is thinking of you...i know what i want for my birthday, to be with my family, we can't make it down this year so i'll just have to get drunk and try not to think about them, birthdays are just no fun unless you have family and friends around.

i'll probably regret saying that next year when i can't eat birthday cake because mum thinks it will make me fat

I'm not sure what I think of this idea.
What if I decide to send it to one person and they go and make a thread and show what I gave, and then someone else I like has a birthday and I can't afford to give that person a gift?

I think they'd feel slighted. I'm on disability with, a very very small income, so I could never return the generous thoughts through gifts. So I'm out.

That's not to say, if I could, I wouldn't want to send everyone of you a gift on your special day. You are all truly special in your own way.

THANKS MY CYBER-FRIENDS!
