I went out for a wander in the garden with Lily, who likes to smell the flowers when she's on a supervised visit. Who should I see but Adelaide - sunning herself on our newly created mulch - as the leaves and twigs rot down it provides lovely warmth that the kitties adore.

At first I wondered whether she was ok

She lay there absolutely stock still

I think Tippy wondered the same thing

I was just telling Tippy, it's ok, I can see her breathing, when Addie looked up to see what all the fuss was about

and......then went back to sleep again

Adelaide - the no longer stray/feral kitty

Addie thanks you all for looking at her pictures Chris, Halfpint, Linda, Karen, Susan and CatsRNmom.

This is where she spends sunny days - cold or gloomy days and nights she spends in home.

Susan - we tried Lily with a leash but she is so tiny she wriggled out of the one we had. We have got one for a ferret now, but she doesn't like that one very much. So she usually gets carried outside for a sniff of the flowers and to feel the breeze on her face. Occasionally she escapes when hubby goes out to feed the chickens and has been known to run straight through the middle of the girls sending chickens flapping and clucking straight up in the air

Oh and yes... you're right - Tippy had walked through a cobweb . I reckon she thought it looked particularly fetching because she didn't want me to take it off

Cats always manage to find the most amazing spots to sleep, yet still look so comfortable! Adelaide is a very pretty girl IMO and I am glad that she found you and your kits

I did wonder because i know how quick they can be!.

I have to watch Sophie carefully when i go to put something in the bin outside because she trots straight over to the door

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Adelaide, wow! You're such a gorgeous little girl!
Just look at you so comfy and relaxed in your perfect spot for sun bathing! What a cute "what's with all the noise" face peeking up to see what's going on, then right back to sleep for you! No one can disturb your wonderful nap! Tippy just didn't know what to think, did she!
Thank you for these fantastic picture, Beth! Such beautiful girls!

Awww thank you Dan - I love to see her rolled over because then she shows off her apricot coloured tummy - it's such a beautiful colour.

Thank you also Ari, SillyJilly and Stephanie
. Tippy really was looking at Addie, wondering whether she was ok, then looking at me, then back at Addie. She just couldn't figure out whether Addie was alright.
