Cats licking or chewing on plastic

I found this quite interesting. A friend of mine who has my cat formerly known as Tucker, said that she asked her vet why cats chew or lick plastic, because Tucker does this as well. He said that it's because it contains animal bi-products and there's some kind of taste that attracts plastic to cats.

Just thought you'd like to know that little tidbit.

BTW, my cat Casey loves plastic bags.

Somebody here, Hissy I think - told me that one time too. I think it contains fish-oils?

Really!?! Thats very interesting. :tounge2: I guess thats why my kittens are always chewing on whatever they can find that is plastic...

One of my cats likes to lick photographs!!! weird!!
