My kitten does has this odd habit of feeling things. At least, I think that's what she is doing. She pushes a paw into a blanket, a face, or clothes, and then pulls it out, and does it with the other paw, and then the first, over and over, like she is feeling it. She will do it for about five minutes. Do cats normally do that? Does anyone know what Kitty is doing?

Your kitty is kneading. Some knead on people, and some on blankets, etc.
"Why does your cat knead you with its front paws?
All cat owners will know that when they sit down to watch television their cat will sometimes jump up on their knee and start purring. When it settles down it will often start kneading the owner with its front paws. The cat will get a far away look in its eyes and may even start to dribble. Eventually its claws may come out of the sheath and the kneading becomes uncomfortable for the owner. Kittens feeding from their mother knead her with their front paws to stimulate the flow of milk and this behaviour is thought to be a pseudo infant - parent behavior."

Mine does the same thing on my leg, of all things. It gets pretty painful because his nails are out.
