Niles, my three year old long hair, has been sick for a week. He got sick one night when I came home from work and I didn't think much of it it. In the middle of the night, I had to take him to the ER. I woke up to his crying and found him stuck behind the dryer. I pulled him out and he immediately lost control of his hind legs, his bowel and bladder. At the clinic, he had blood tests and an x-ray. He was dehydrated and at first they thought he may have had a seizure or he could be diabetic. They kept him for the night so he could see the internist in the morning. After seeing two internists, a cardiologist and having an ultrasound, they don't know what is wrong. Based on his symptoms, they thought he'd thrown a blood clot, but couldn't find one. They let me bring him home and he seemed OK, except he's not really eating and dry coughing. I took him back this week because of this and I am now feeding him via a syringe. They still can't figure out what is going on with him. Last night, I noticed his breathing and it sounds like he has a stuffed nose. I am at my wits end and feel terrible for him. I don't know what to do. Anyone have any thoughts?

I can't help you either...sorry!
However, I want to suggest that you take Niles to a feline specialist. Hopefully they can give you an answer about what's wrong.

Good luck and please post an update to let us know how Niles is doing!

I would suggest a feline specialist as well and fairly quickly.
