hello, i have a very cute siamese male cat, i call Chuchu. Chuchu is 3yrs old and is the only pet that i own and is not neutered. Now that Chuchu is mature, he needs another companion. My problem is that my mother wont allow me to keep another pet and i cannot imagine giving Chuchu away. So will it be ok for chuchu if i get him neutered? But still Chuchu wont get any comapanion. I have a friend who has a lot of cats. Another option that i have is to give Chuchu away to that friend. I am really VERY worried about Chuchu. I just want him to be happy where ever he lives.
Please help me!

I think you should get him neutered regardless of what you decide to do. What makes you think he's unhappy and needs a companion?

IMO, I also agree that you should neuter Chuchu. All cats deserve a home with people who will love and protect them. This cannot be achieved until the cat population has been controlled with spay and neuter procedures.

My siamese Simon did fine on his own before I got Elle, to be honest I think that as long as you give him proper affection and attention he should be fine being the only cat in the house. If you think about it, this is the only lifestyle he knows anyways, so it's not like he's sitting around hoping for another playmate, he's adapting to his current situation.

As well, I am not sure how old you are, but Siamese cats generally have a long lifespan so maybe eventually you can get Chuchu a companion

To recap, I think you should neuter Chuchu regardless and try not to worry about getting him a companion for now.

P.S - if you have any pictures of this lovely boy I would love to see them
