I've been living in los angeles for about 5 years, and now that I've finally found a vet that I like, I'm moving to Chicago.

Otis has been tested for hyperthyroid, and may have to start medication soon. So, I'm going to need a good vet right from the start.

Anybody from Chicago has a vet they can recommend to me?

That would be great!

I'm moving to Lincoln Park next week, near the corner of Fullerton Pkwy & Clark.

Oh wow, you're literally like 2 blocks away from me! LP is an absolutely beautiful neighborhood...you'll love it!!

I would reccommend Blum Animal Hospital, which is located at 3219 N. Clark. THeir number is 773-327-4446

If you need a dentist, I also have a fabulous one of those!!

Oh, I am very far away-northwest almost to the Wisconsin border. I guess we won't be neighbors. Although I love my vet, he is definitely too far for you to drive!

Welcome to Illinois!

Yeah, I'm very much looking forward to Chicago.

Oh, and is there a specific vet at the Blum Hospital that you prefer?

And, the dentist a human dentist? Because I'll definetely need one of those too.

I've had several different doctors I've had at Blum and I haven't had even a small problem with any of them. Their service is very friendly and fast...they're extremely good about emergencies. Their prices are reasonable, especially considering where they're located.

As for a dentist, Robert S. Deaver is located in the loop and is one of the city's top rated human dentists. His number is 312-726-1899. It's a 15 minute ride on the train or bus, but well worth it

I have lived in Lincoln Park for 2 years now and I absolutely love it here. The east side of the neighborhood (where you and I will live) is especially beautiful because of how close we are to the park and the lakefront
Fullerton/Clark is only a couple blocks from the nature museum, which I highly suggest you check out...there's a butterfly room in which they have grown a butterfly garden and let thosands of free flying butterflies greet the visitors

Woodstock-I think I'm about an hour and a half from you. Maybe we can meet at the Chicago get together!
