Not at all!

That's great that you want to adopt. I hope you find the doggy you want. Good luck!

Ok, I fixed the link. Hopefully if this isn't "the one", we will find the puppy we are looking for. There is no rush, but this guy looks pretty perfect!

He is simply gorgeous! I'd say he looks perfect as well. Good luck. & 8 hours away is not that bad. Especially for a puppy that you'd love to have!!

Looks like a keeper!!!

You are not nuts to want him. If it was meant to be, everything will work out, if not, then that means there is another dog out there for you. This guy is definitely worth trying to get! Good luck!

I spent weeks looking at Petfinder before I found Brynna there. Then I drove to Iowa to pick her up at the Keokuk Humane Society Shelter. If you're nuts, I'm right there with you!
That was 3 years ago, and she's such a wonderful friend! Good luck finding your perfect little match!

Well, I didn't get that pup, but now I've found another. It is only about 4-5 hours away.

(I apologize to anyone who clicked on the other link from August.)

I will call in the morning to see if he is still available. If so, I will most likely drive to MI to pick him up tomorrow.
We want a new pup, and a newfie mix, but it will be a challenge to incorporate him with our other dog, 2 house cats, and 3 foster cats. And the outside boy Will rubs on our other dog as we take her out on the leash, so this pup needs to be nice to Will, the outside cat, too!

We have quite a bit of time off over the next month, and I can take days off in January, too, for training. Oh, I do hope he is available!

I hope you get him. He's adorable. And as I learned in Newfoundland this past summer on vacation, Newfie dogs need lots of outdoors space, and the purebred dogs actually prefer to live outdoors. He needs room to roam, and cold weather.
