I was at one of the big pet shops the other day and came across a vibrating litter scoop!
I actually think it is a pretty gimicky device that promotes laziness - how long does it take to shake the scoop?!

I personally just found it incredibly funny!

Have any of you guys seen these or use them? I'm not really calling you lazy if you do use one!

Wait a minute ... you've got PetsMarts in Britain?

*sigh* Why do I get this idea that if I ever manage to do any traveling I'll feel like I never left home!

Anyway it sounds like a gimmicky thing to me, although perhaps not quite as bad as pet rocks
.

I'm beginning to see more and more products being battery operated. And of course, it must be better if the product requires a battery, right? I'm surprised they didn't come out first with a corded model and then an "advanced" cordless model !!

Tried it once. The battery burned out in 6 weeks. It was a total waste of $.

But one of my friends (who has a LOT of cats) got carpal tunnel from shaking litter scoops so I can definitely see how she would find it useful. But for me, no thanks!

A vibrating litter scoop???? OMG!

OK here's a picture of it. I don't know what this cat ate, but apparently it dispersed meatball poopies!
