I am working at home today, writing the syllabus for next year and because my house is being painted top to bottom courtesy of the landlord and I need to be here to help move things etc. My bedroom was finished yesterday so I am sitting in pristine freshness. Ellie has just jumped on my desk and thrown up her entire breakfast, mixed with grass, all over the newly painted windowsill and my files. Grrrrrrr. I love cats!

Sorry to laugh, Jenny, but it always seems that cats know just when and where they shouldn't be sick....but do!

I bet it's just what you needed too!

I hope all the decorating gets completed soon and Ellie refrains from throwing up anywhere else!

I'm sorry to laugh honey but that did actually give me a bit of a giggle. It's always the way, isn't it?? Just when things either are going really well, or so badly you think you can't handly anything else, something happens that tops it all off for you!

It's a pity kitties aren't like children - it's not like you can get her to clean it up and repaint your windows! Perhaps that painter will take pity and do it again if you look VERY forlorn and lost...lol

On a slightly more serious note, Elie does not seem herself today. After the barfing episode she settled down on the (other side of the) desk and has slept all morning. Most unlike her. I treated them all with Frontline yesterday, so maybe she managed to ingest some of it. The other two seem fine. I will keep a watch on her.

Hope she's okay, it sounds like what Sar said.

Wooley Booger (RB) had been thrown off of beds, tables, chairs, etc., so often when he started the "retch" that he had trained himself. When he started to retch he immediately got down on the floor. At least it was easier to clean up
.

No it's not really funny is it, everytime I clean my carpet someone has to see if I can get a stain out
my carpet is oatmeal color and evrything they throw up is darker

Thanks for your wishes guys. She seems OK and has eaten since with no ill effects. There are no fumes, as the painter is using a water based paint. All three cats are scared to death of him, nasty man with a roller on a long stick who has covered up all their favourite places in plastic sheets and makes funny noises! As it is raining today all of them have taken refuge in my bedroom, Dushka is on my left arm, growling occasionally if my movements disturb her, Ellie is curled up in the corner on a suitcase and Persil is staring rather miserably out of the window at the rain. She and Ellie did have a game earlier with a catnip mouse, and Ellie has learnt to use the copier machine by walking on it so it prints out a 'help' page! She has done it twice. So I think all is normal.
