Hello from a Newbie!

Hi, my name is Maggie, owner of Maisey, a 3-year-old gray and black striped kitty. I also have had adventures with a family of neighborhood cats that you can read about in the stray cats section of the board. I'll be 24 years old in August. I grew up in the country, and have had several cats throughout the years. It's just Maisey and I for now, but maybe once I get settled, I'll adopt a couple more kitties. I've really enjoyed the board so far, and look forward to reading more about others' experiences with their cat babies.

I'd love to see some pics of a grey and black striped kitty!

I'd like to post them, but I'm not sure how all that works. I have several and some fairly recent ones that I need to get developed. I guess I need a scanner, or to put the pics on a CD (?). Wal-mart will do that, but what if the film is expired? It's been a few months since I took the pics, and I keep forgetting to get them in. I've heard that they can still be saved, but the colors may be a bit warped. Well, I'll see what I can do... Once they are on a disc, though, I will need help with the techie stuff - I know how to save net photos to a photo site to use them as avatars. Can I get my photos from the CD onto imageshack or a similar site? I guess there's probably a thread on here somewhere to help me, so I'll check that out (I say this after I've bugged you all with my questions.
). It may take me some time, but I'll get the kitty pics up sometime soon.

There are several threads that can help you post pictures, once you have them ready to go. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing some pics!
