It took 12 weeks to grow and less two hours to die

OH BEAUTIFUL, Rhonda. Too sad.
wow those are pretty. When I was little I planted a sunflower seed and it grew and grew and was big and pretty and I could see all the seeds in the head of it. Well my mom called me to the window to look at it and a squirrel (is that how you spell that?) had chewed off the flower part and was trying to drag the whole head up a tree assuming back to his home. It was funny to see but it did make me mad!

Mine have big tree trunks by fall!! I've entered the head in large produce contests and only took 3rd!!! Most of mine reseed every yr since I keep them in the garden for the birds all winter. I took some pix and hopefully post them soon (btw I see I ragweed in the picture!!)
