Maybe he has something in his eye, or it could be an infection. I notice my cats occassionaly get a hair in their eye, although it only lasts for a few minutes.

Is the eye all gooked up? Any discharge?

Is he in pain? Is he acting normal? Hiding? Any other problems - eating, toilet habits?

I don't know what to suggest, you could try wiping his eye very gently with a wet cotton wool pad?

Does the area around the eye feel warmer than the rest of him? If so, he may have an abscess, and you'd want a vet to get it drained and treated.

how is your cat today? i just replied to gambrels, and told them about my siamese. iceis(my siamese) over night developed swelling and draining in her eye due to an infected tooth. my suggestion to you would be to take her to the vet. for now, something to try is a regular tea bag. soak it in very warm to hot water for about 3 min. take it out of the water, let it cool slightly(you still want it to be luke warm) squeeze SOME of the water out, you still want some water in it, and then let it soak on her eye. this usually works quite well. while you are soaking her eye, gently squeeze some of the tea into her eye. let me know how things are going.
