Any litter advice?

I bought some pretty cruddy litter. I once tried MAXX Scoop, which worked pretty well. I just went out and bought a 10kg bag of it, since I need something that works. However, while I was there, I saw those silica beads that supposedly absorb all moisture.
I have two very healthy cats (read: seem to excrete more than they take in) who share the box. Any suggestions on litter?

I like Arm and Hammer multi cat clumping litter!

i use fresh step or any of the good crystals. its wonderful! no smell or dust
